    Pine Island Public School was awarded funds for Puberty Curriculum. To provide a comprehensive puberty curriculum to address the educational needs of students. The purpose of the project is to equip young individuals with essential knowledge about puberty and hygiene, preparing them for the physical and emotional changes they will experience during adolescence.

    Rochester Public Schools was awarded funds for Whole School Mindfulness Coaching at Riverside Elementary. Whole School Mindfulness works to transform school communities, creating cultures that prioritize wellness, awareness and justice.

    Rochester Public Schools was awarded funds for the screening at middle school of the documentary series Screenagers. This initiative talks about use of scenes in this ever changing environment, promoting connection and communication building resiliency and healthy coping skills for families.

    Rochester Public Schools was awarded funding to provide students at ALC the fees to take their drivers license test. Creating access at school for students who would otherwise not be able to participate due to cost and accessibility.

    Fernbrook Family Center was awarded funds for the pilot of MAP. (Managing and Adapting Practice) is an evidence informed practice designed to improve knowledge around the implementation of evidence based practice as a foundational skill for mental health clinicians. Providing support to Olmsted County children and families for more access to this evidenced based mental health intervention.

    Pine Island Public Schools was awarded funding for professional development for staff. This initiative increases the support for staff around the topics of Mental Health and connects staff and students in support.

    United Way was awarded funding for Running Start for Schools. This funding is to provide backpacks and supplies so every student has access to a successful school year.

    Rochester Alternative Learning Center was awarded funding to unique experiential programming that emphasize healthy leisure & enrichment opportunities. Students come from complex family systems, we know that providing opportunities for healthy experiences is critical in building resiliency.

    Dover Eyota was awarded funding for the curriculum The Incredible Years to use with their kindergarten classrooms. This curriculum offers evidence-based early intervention programs for children, parents, and teachers. Improve children's social-emotional skills today.

    Fernbrook Family Center was awarded funding for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion training Nuerodivergence Great Minds don’t think alike. This high level training was provided at no cost for Olmsted County professionals.

    John Marshall Wellness Room was awarded funding for activities and games that are not screen related to promote socialization and well being among students. This space provides a safe space to build relationships with caring adults and respectful peers to build their wellbeing skillset.

    Safe Routes to School was awarded funding for Strider Bikes. Many elementary age students don't know how to ride a bike. Teaching students to ride bikes, and take care of their bikes fosters connection to our community and promotes a healthy way of transportation for many students.

    Bridge to Transportation was awarded funding to provide safe and reliable transportation options to young children to increase access and early intervention.

    Jeremiah Project was awarded funds for Early Childhood Classrooms. To increase the classroom support’s to meet the needs of early childhood aged children and families.

    Stewartville Public Schools was awarded funding for Digital Citizenship for students and staff. This training is an experience to become better and safer digital citizens at a time when it is easy to fall victim to ongoing poor choices.

    Launching Emerging Adults Program was awarded funding to unique experiential programming that emphasize healthy leisure & celebration activities. Students come from complex family systems, we know that providing opportunities for healthy experiences is critical in building resiliency.

    John Adams Middle School was awarded funding for a Calming Space Initiative. Calming space provides students the chance to regulate emotions and allow them the space to test their skills and to empower themselves to process emotions before they intensify and become a bigger concern.

    Fernbrook Family Center was awarded funding for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion training Centering Queer Voices. This high level training was provided at no cost for Olmsted County professionals.

This space provides a safe space to build relationships with caring adults and respectful peers to build their skills and see success in school.

    Barbershop & Social Services was awarded funding for a Community Parent Liaison, to connect families with community resources, inform and connect families to school resources and opportunities, help build capacity for increased parent engagement in the school tapping into their strengths, foster trust and relationships early on so that lines of communication are open between parents and their child's school.

Teaching students to ride bikes, and take care of their bikes fosters connection to our community and promotes a healthy way of transportation for many students.

    Three Rivers Community Action was awarded funds to serve emergent needs of families and pregnant women in Olmsted County. Providing funds to the economic bridging program, to help with gaps to meet the needs of their clients who have income at or below 200% of poverty.

    Bridge to Transportation was awarded funding to provide safe and reliable transportation options to young children to increase access and early intervention.

    Fernbrook Family Center was awarded funds for training for Early Childhood Mental Health. To increase the capacity and skills of Early Childhood Mental Health Providers to meet the needs of early childhood aged children and families.

    Byron Public Schools was awarded funding for hosting The Wake Up Call. This presentation provides families with important education to help prevent substance abuse and to connect them with community resources that may be needed in the event of problems.

    Family Service Rochester was awarded funds for Domestic Violence Informed Education in Child Serving Systems. This training provides Olmsted County Child and Family services to child serving systems to increase capacity and confidence in addressing the complex Domestic Violence has on children and overall family functioning.

    Pamoja Women was awarded funds for a soccer program for East Africa girls, who due to barriers often miss the opportunity to learn and play. Learning these skills from East African women has created confidence, and boosted self esteem.

    Families First was awarded funds for the creation of an Anti-Racism lending library for programs serving young children that support conversations about race, racism, and resilience that better reflect our whole community.

    Bridge to Transportation was awarded funds to provide safe and reliable transportation options to young children to increase access and early intervention.

    Stewartville Public Schools and Byron Public Schools were awarded funds for Tiered Supports training for staff. Tiered Supports develops a system of supports to meet the needs of students impacted by trauma, meet the universal needs of students to build relationships and regulate their psychological state, and develop a model of supports that are matched to the students needs and more.

    Early Childhood Mental Health professionals were awarded funds for Reflective practice. Reflective practice is ‘learning through and from experience towards gaining new insights of self and practice.’ (Finlay, 2008). Reflection is a systematic reviewing process for professionals which allows you to make links from one experience to the next, making sure your students make maximum progress.

    Olmsted County was awarded funds to provide Conscious Discipline training for community professionals, parents and teachers. Conscious Discipline is a proven, comprehensive approach of social emotional learning that empowers you with the skills to create a safe, connected, problem solving environment for families.

    Byron Public Schools was awarded funds for Habitudes Social Emotional Learning Curriculum. Habitudes is an image based leadership development curriculum that empowers educators, coaches, parents and adult leaders to prepare any student to become a leader. Developing self awareness and responsible decision making.

    Rochester Public Schools was awarded funds for Phoenix Academy SMART program. Sensory Motor Arousal Regulation Treatment works to expand non-verbal students’ access to trauma services given it does not rely on language and awareness to begin working through trauma.

    Rochester Public Schools was awarded funds for the Mayo High School and John Marshall Wellness rooms. This initiative provides a safe and welcoming environment to expand coping skills and building tools for early intervention to student mental health needs.

    Food and Rescue Redistribution program was awarded funds to mitigate food insecurities and disparities for low income families in diverse communities, and children without access and to provide food rescue.
